An excerpt from the book:
Dunedin is a city that redefines the facets of living, recreation and dining. Located in Pinellas County, Florida, this city presents some of the best sunsets coupled with visually-stimulating and scenic views. If Dunedins spontaneous sceneries and customer-friendly amenities are not enough for you, then revitalize your living experience with a ferry trip to Caladesi Island State Park, which currently stands as the #1 beach in America, and to make the whole idea more inviting, ferry trips are made available every day.
The boat ride to Caladesi Island State Park is some twenty minutes off of Honeymoon Island and the moment you arrive there, you are greeted with gorgeous shore birds and gentle sea turtles across the pristine white sand. Within the state park, you are allowed to set up a picnic, go kayaking along the kayak trails, fishing, shelling, or grab a bite and some beverages at the concession stand.
The city is home to the oldest microbrewery in Florida. Dunedin Brewery is a welcome sight to any beer enthusiast. You can take a tour around the brewery, which is open to guests from Thursdays to Saturdays, and even enjoy a few samples of their own brew. Just about every day you get the chance to view live performances and events at Dunedin Brewery; incidentally, when one wants to view events outside of the brewery, there is definitely so much more.

39 Great Florida Retirement Towns: From the Very Affordable to the Upscale (The Best Places to Retire) (Volume 3)
Florida continues to be popular with retirees, thanks to its favorable tax structure, warm weather and beautiful beaches. Not all Florida towns, however, are created equal. Many of the beach towns are very expensive, and many of the affordable towns have a high crime rate. Here we look at thirty nine Florida towns that are worth considering for retirement. Some of these are well known. Many are lesser known. Nineteen of them have a cost of living that meets the national average or is less than the national average. Twenty of these towns have a cost of living that is higher than the national average. The towns with the lower costs are not fancy places, but they are comfortable, and they have a crime rate that is below or equal to the national average. The upscale towns have amenities and a quality of life that are worth the higher costs. In each town, we look at population, median home price, percentage of people age 45 or better, medical facilities, transportation, climate, political leanings and more. And because no place is perfect, we also note each towns drawbacks. Updated March, 2016!

Shelter in Place
From Nora Roberts comes the #1 New York Times bestseller Shelter in Place (June 2018)a powerful tale of heart, heroism...and propulsive suspense.
It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Mothers and children shopped together, and the manager at the video-game store tending to customers. Then the shooters arrived.
The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But for those who lived through it, the effects would last forever. In the years that followed, one would dedicate himself to a law enforcement career. Another would close herself off, trying to bury the memory of huddling in a ladies' room, hopelessly clutching her cell phone--until she finally found a way to pour her emotions into her art.
But one person wasn't satisfied with the shockingly high death toll at the DownEast Mall. And as the survivors slowly heal, find shelter, and rebuild, they will discover that another conspirator is lying in wait--and this time, there might be nowhere safe to hide.

The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World
An instant New York Times bestseller
Two spiritual giants. Five days. One timeless question.
Nobel Peace Prize Laureates His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu have survived more than fifty years of exile and the soul-crushing violence of oppression. Despite their hardshipsor, as they would say, because of themthey are two of the most joyful people on the planet.
In April 2015, Archbishop Tutu traveled to the Dalai Lama's home in Dharamsala, India, to celebrate His Holiness's eightieth birthday and to create what they hoped would be a gift for others. They looked back on their long lives to answer a single burning question: How do we find joy in the face of life's inevitable suffering?
They traded intimate stories, teased each other continually, and shared their spiritual practices. By the end of a week filled with laughter and punctuated with tears, these two global heroes had stared into the abyss and despair of our time and revealed how to live a life brimming with joy.
This book offers us a rare opportunity to experience their astonishing and unprecendented week together, from the first embrace to the final good-bye.
We get to listen as they explore the Nature of True Joy and confront each of the Obstacles of Joyfrom fear, stress, and anger to grief, illness, and death. They then offer us the Eight Pillars of Joy, which provide the foundation for lasting happiness. Throughout, they include stories, wisdom, and science. Finally, they share their daily Joy Practices that anchor their own emotional and spiritual lives.
The Archbishop has never claimed sainthood, and the Dalai Lama considers himself a simple monk. In this unique collaboration, they offer us the reflection of real lives filled with pain and turmoil in the midst of which they have been able to discover a level of peace, of courage, and of joy to which we can all aspire in our own lives.
